Alamo is located in the Pahranagat Valley, just north of Coyote Springs and only 90 miles from Las Vegas. Over 5000 acres of this lush valley are reserved as the Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge Wetlands, which provide an important stop over point for thousands of migratory birds on the Great Pacific Migratory Route.
